Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
We are able to offer flexible hours within these times to suit your needs. We are also able to accommodate requests for increased or decreased hours on an ad hoc basis. Please contact Teresa, the Nursery Manager, to discuss your requirements.
Our normal day is broken up into these timings:
8.00am - 9.00am Breakfast Club*
9.00am - 12.00pm Morning Session
12.00pm - 12.30pm Lunch Club
12.30pm - 3.00pm Afternoon Session
3.00pm - 4.00pm Late Session
* an 8.30am start is available for breakfast club
Fees are charged at an hourly rate of £4.20 (reviewed termly).
The Nursery has obtained funding for all children living in Hampshire from the full term following their third birthday. This funds your child for up to 15 hours or 30 hours per week for 37 weeks (the Robin Nursery academic year). Early years education funding for two year olds is also available to qualifying families.
(Please note: an hourly rate of £4.26 applies to funded children who do not claim all of their funding with us).
If you would like your child to have breakfast and/or lunch at nursery please provide them with appropriate food for those meals.
(Please note: we have a no nuts and no kiwi policy in place due to allergies).
The nursery will provide free water, milk and morning and afternoon snacks every day for your child.
Example of a typical day
9.00am Settling and registration followed by adult led group activities at tables.
9.30am Child initiated activities: indoors and outdoors
10.15am Snack time
10.30am Free play
11.40am Tidy up time
11.45am Adult supported reflection time: stories, rhymes, musical activities, language group
12noon Lunchtime and collection of children who are not staying for lunch
12noon Lunchtime (children attending for the afternoon arrive at 12noon or 12.30)
12.30pm Assisted play inside and outside with snack time
2.45pm Adult supported reflection time: stories, rhymes, musical activities
3.00pm Children are collected
We also have regular visits from external parties such as ZooLab, Twinkle Toes, New Forest Academy of Dance and Titchy Fit.
